The Hon'ble Govt. of Himachal Pradesh approved the proposal for the opening of this college of. Education by granting the No Objection Certificate in December,1997.The Northern Region Committee, Jaipur (Raj) of the National Council for Teacher Education during the year 1998 and finally, in its rneeting held on 21-05-1999 allotted 120 seats (in arts with effect from the academic session 1999-2000.
